The
Situation
Yooralla is a
disability services organisation that assists over 30,000 disabled
Victorians annually.
Yooralla has been a Print Solutions Group
customer since 1996.
But by 2007, a lot had changed. New, more
efficient technology had become available and Yoralla’s processes
and practices had become vastly different.
It was time to
re-assess Yoralla’s office technology and printing needs.
The
Solution
Print Solutions
Group implemented a three-step process aimed at increasing
efficiencies and reducing costs office-wide.
Audit: we conducted a physical audit and used sophisticated software auditing tools to determine existing printing requirements, volumes and costs.
Workflow analysis: we undertook a thorough analysis of workflow and printing requirements and engaged in ongoing discussions with key client stakeholders.
Recommendation and implementation: we recommended a new office technology solution along with a detailed implementation and training plan.
Our recommendations included:
A reduction of Yoralla’s printing devices by almost 50%.
Bringing colour copying and printing back in-house. No more outsourcing of costly and confidential jobs.
A customised billing solution, with one invoice itemised by device and location.
A post-installation analysis to define and review cost savings.
A comprehensive account management process.
The
Outcome
Yoralla believes
that these changes have saved them an enormous amount per annum.
